Annual World Tai Chi and Qigong Day
— A Free Community Event —
April 25, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon
Every year, on the last Saturday in April, the Tai Chi Association of Colorado Springs joins in this worldwide healing event to raise awareness of the many health and martial benefits of Tai Chi. Annual World Tai Chi Day unfolds across the planet in hundreds of cities and 80 nations. We invite you to come out and join us for this special event at the Tai Chi Association of Colorado Springs overlooking Pikes Peak and the Front Range.
You do NOT need to have any previous Tai Chi experience to join us.
All ages are welcome to participate in this community event. Come to learn, participate, experience, and enjoy (or even just to watch if you prefer).
What is World Tai Chi & Qigong Day?
Starting in New Zealand, this healing event will spread time-zone-by-time-zone across six continents. Gatherings and exhibitions of Tai Chi & Qigong (Chi Gong) will be held in public places — to educate the world about the benefits of the Traditional Chinese Medicine exercises of Tai Chi & Qigong, which promote balance and connection of mind and body.
This world-wide “wave” of healing and awareness will be a spectacular site to behold and experience. Mark your calendar. Every year the event is fresh and different.
