Some Tai Chi experience is necessary.
If you are in the Tai Chi Association Certification Program  this workshop is required to Level up.

In this workshop you will learn:

  • How to use and put into practice the 8 Jins (energies) in fighting techniques.
  • How to generate Internal Power (Jin)
  • Push Hands 2 person drills and applications
  • The warmup and joint opening exercises (kaimengong).
Training with a partner also allows a you to develop Ting Jing (listening power), the sensitivity to feel the strength and direction of a partner’s intention.  This provides a format for you to improve your martial arts timing and footwork, along with relaxation, balance, and flexibility.  You will especially learn to put into practice the 8 Jins (energies).

I believe and teach that the many health and self-defense benefits of Tai Chi cannot be separated, and if they are is not real Tai Chi!

Tai Chi is now and always has been a Martial Art…
